WWC Sure Fire Chalice is a striking large polyp stony coral prized for its vivid coloration, fleshy tissue, and distinctive plating growth pattern. Its broad, encrusting surface can develop a vibrant combination of contrasting colors that become especially pronounced under blue-spectrum and actinic lighting. As the colony grows, it gradually spreads across surrounding rockwork, creating a colorful and highly textured addition to the reef aquarium.

Lighting: Low to Moderate lighting requirements (approximately 50–150 PAR)
Flow Rate: Low to Moderate; gentle, indirect water movement helps keep the coral clean while allowing its fleshy tissue to expand fully
Food Requirements: Photosynthetic through symbiotic zooxanthellae; occasional feedings of small meaty foods or fine particulate coral foods may support growth and overall coloration
Aggression: Semi-Aggressive; chalice corals can extend sweeper tentacles and should be given adequate space from neighboring corals, especially at night
Placement: Best placed on stable lower to mid-level rockwork with room to encrust and spread. Provide moderate spacing from neighboring corals and avoid excessively strong, direct flow.
