Description:
WWC Silver Fox Favites Coral is an eye-catching LPS coral known for its attractive contrasting coloration and distinctive corallite structure. Its textured appearance adds depth and visual interest to reef aquariums, while its coloration can become especially pronounced under blue and actinic lighting. Favites are generally hardy once established and can develop into impressive colonies when provided with stable water conditions and adequate space.

Lighting: Moderate – approximately 75–150 PAR
Flow Rate: Low to Moderate – gentle, indirect flow that helps keep the coral clean without excessive tissue movement
Food Requirements: Primarily photosynthetic through its symbiotic zooxanthellae. Occasional small meaty foods or fine particulate coral foods can be offered to supplement nutrition and support growth.
Aggression: Semi-Aggressive – Favites may extend sweeper tentacles at night and should be given appropriate space from neighboring corals.
Placement: Best placed on lower to mid-level rockwork or another stable surface where it can receive consistent lighting and gentle flow while maintaining clearance from nearby corals.
