WWC Rogue Leptastrea Coral

WWC Rogue Leptastrea Coral

Species: Leptastrea spp.
Coral Type: LPS Coral / Encrusting Coral

Description:
WWC Rogue Leptastrea Coral is an attractive encrusting coral that adds intricate texture and vibrant color to a reef aquarium. Its closely packed corallites create a detailed surface pattern, while its contrasting coloration can stand out beautifully under blue and actinic lighting. This compact-growing coral is a great option for adding visual interest to lower-light areas of the aquascape and can gradually spread across suitable rockwork when provided with stable reef conditions.

Coral Type: LPS Coral / Encrusting Coral
Lighting: Low to Moderate – approximately 50–150 PAR
Flow Rate: Low to Moderate – gentle, indirect flow that helps keep the colony free of debris without excessive water movement
Food Requirements: Primarily photosynthetic through its symbiotic zooxanthellae. Occasional fine particulate foods or small coral foods may be offered to supplement nutrition and support healthy growth.
Aggression: Peaceful to Semi-Aggressive – generally manageable, but provide adequate space between this coral and neighboring colonies as it expands.
Placement: Best positioned on lower to mid-level rockwork or another stable surface with low to moderate lighting and gentle, indirect flow.

Quarantine & Biosecurity:
We maintain a rigorous, veterinarian-approved quarantine program designed to protect the health of our coral collection and help reduce the introduction of unwanted pests and pathogens. Each coral is carefully inspected and monitored before being made available, providing an added layer of confidence when introducing new specimens to your reef system.
