Description:
WWC Purple Stylophora Coral is a striking small-polyp stony coral prized for its compact branching structure and attractive purple coloration. Its dense, textured branches add depth and dimension to an SPS reef, while its coloration can become especially vibrant under blue and actinic lighting. Once established, this coral can develop into a beautiful branching colony. Stable water chemistry, consistent nutrient levels, and strong water movement are important for maintaining healthy growth and coloration.

Flow Rate: Moderate to High – strong, turbulent flow that circulates throughout the branching structure and helps prevent debris buildup
Food Requirements: Primarily photosynthetic through its symbiotic zooxanthellae. Stable nutrient levels are important, and occasional fine particulate foods may be offered as supplemental nutrition.
Aggression: Peaceful to Semi-Aggressive – generally not highly aggressive, but adequate spacing should be maintained to prevent contact with neighboring corals as the colony grows.
Placement: Best positioned on stable mid to upper-level rockwork where it can receive consistent lighting and varied, turbulent flow. Allow sufficient room for its branching structure to expand.
