Monster Mash Zoanthids are a highly sought-after designer zoanthid known for their bold, multi-color appearance. Individual polyps typically feature a bright green or yellow oral disc with splashes of orange and red, often surrounded by a darker purple or maroon ring and a contrasting skirt of short tentacles. The polyps grow from a soft, mat-like base that spreads across rock surfaces, allowing the colony to gradually encrust surrounding areas. Under blue and actinic reef lighting, their fluorescent pigments intensify dramatically, producing a vivid neon glow that makes them stand out in mixed reef aquariums.
