WWC Fantasy Island Birdsnest Coral

WWC Fantasy Island Birdsnest Coral

Species: Seriatopora spp.
Coral Type: SPS Coral / Branching Birdsnest Coral

Description:
WWC Fantasy Island Birdsnest Coral is a striking small polyp stony coral known for its intricate branching structure and colorful appearance. Its delicate, interwoven branches create depth and texture, making it an attractive centerpiece or accent in a mature reef aquarium. With stable water chemistry, appropriate lighting, and strong, turbulent flow, this coral can develop into a beautiful branching colony.

Coral Type: SPS Coral / Birdsnest
Lighting: Moderate to High — approximately 150–300 PAR
Flow Rate: Moderate to High, with strong, varied flow to help deliver nutrients and prevent debris from accumulating among the branches
Food Requirements: Primarily photosynthetic; stable nutrient levels are important, and occasional fine particulate coral foods may provide supplemental nutrition
Aggression: Generally peaceful, but its growing branches need adequate clearance from neighboring corals
Placement: Middle to upper rockwork in an established reef aquarium with stable calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium levels. Leave enough room for branching growth and ensure water flow reaches the colony throughout.

Quarantine & Biosecurity:
We maintain a rigorous, veterinarian-approved quarantine program designed to protect the health of our coral collection and help reduce the introduction of unwanted pests and pathogens. Each coral is carefully inspected and monitored before being made available, providing an added layer of confidence when introducing new specimens to your reef system.
