Red Banded Hi-Fins thrive in mature reef tanks with stable water parameters, ample swimming space, and moderate flow. Introduce them only after the system is established to reduce stress and ensure proper acclimation. A minimum tank size of 55 gallons is recommended to accommodate their active swimming and potential growth.

Their diet should include high-quality frozen or pellet foods from San Francisco Bay Brand, Hikari, PE, TDO, and New Life Spectrum. Multiple small feedings per day support natural foraging behavior and vibrant coloration.
