Each polyp displays a stunning mix of neon yellows, oranges, greens, blues, and purples layered in concentric rings, creating the signature “hornet” appearance with a rainbow twist. Their contrasting skirts and bright oral discs give the colony exceptional depth and visual impact. As they spread across rockwork, Rainbow Hornet Zoanthids form dense, colorful mats that become a standout feature in reef aquariums. Under actinic or blue-spectrum lighting, their fluorescent pigments intensify dramatically, producing an eye-catching glow.
