Physical & Behavioral Description
The Mocha Domino Clownfish is a unique designer variant of Amphiprion ocellaris, displaying a rich mocha-brown to nearly black body accented by a single bold white “domino” spot along the midsection. Some individuals may show subtle orange hues in the face or fins, adding to their visual appeal. Adults typically reach 3–3.5 inches and maintain the hardy, compact profile characteristic of Ocellaris clownfish. They are semi-aggressive, especially once established, but generally integrate well into peaceful reef communities.

Suitable Tank Description
Ideal for reef or fish-only aquariums of 20 gallons or larger, with stable parameters and moderate water flow. Best added early to mid-stocking to allow them to establish territory before more assertive species are introduced. While they may host anemones such as Bubble Tip Anemones, they do not require one to thrive in captivity.

Diet Description
An omnivore that readily accepts a varied diet of high-quality pellets like New Life Spectrum Marine Formula or TDO Chromaboost, along with frozen foods such as PE Mysis and Hikari Brine Shrimp. A balanced diet will support strong coloration and long-term health.
