The Milk Conch is a striking marine gastropod with a smooth, elongated shell that is typically creamy white with subtle pink or tan highlights. Peaceful and reef-safe, it spends most of its time grazing across sandy substrates, feeding on detritus and microalgae, helping to maintain a clean and balanced aquarium. Its slow, deliberate movement and elegant shell make it a visually appealing addition to sandbed and reef systems.

Milk Conchs thrive in established reef tanks with stable water parameters, deep sandbeds, and minimal strong flow to allow natural grazing. Introduce only to mature systems to ensure ample food availability. A minimum tank size of 20 gallons is recommended to provide sufficient space for natural movement and substrate interaction.

Their diet can be supplemented with finely powdered or pellet foods from San Francisco Bay Brand, Hikari, PE, TDO, and New Life Spectrum, alongside natural grazing on detritus and algae. Target feeding helps maintain health and encourages active foraging behavior.
