Jason Fox Goldmeister Chalice Coral

Jason Fox Goldmeister Chalice Coral

Species: Echinophyllia spp.
Coral Type: LPS Coral / Chalice

Description:
Jason Fox Goldmeister Chalice Coral is a striking chalice coral that adds bold color, intricate texture, and distinctive plating growth to a reef aquarium. Its detailed corallite patterns and contrasting coloration can create a beautiful visual display, particularly under blue and actinic lighting. With stable water parameters and suitable placement, this chalice can gradually spread across available surfaces and develop into an impressive colony.

Coral Type: LPS Coral / Chalice
Lighting: Low to Moderate – approximately 50–150 PAR
Flow Rate: Low to Moderate – gentle, indirect flow that helps keep the coral free of debris without causing excessive tissue movement
Food Requirements: Primarily photosynthetic through its symbiotic zooxanthellae. Occasional small meaty foods or fine particulate coral foods may be offered to supplement nutrition and support healthy growth.
Aggression: Semi-Aggressive – chalice corals may develop sweeper tentacles, particularly at night, so maintain adequate clearance from neighboring corals.
Placement: Best placed on lower to mid-level rockwork or another stable surface receiving low to moderate lighting and gentle flow. Allow enough space around the colony for future growth and nighttime sweepers.

Quarantine & Biosecurity:
We maintain a rigorous, veterinarian-approved quarantine program designed to protect the health of our coral collection and help reduce the introduction of unwanted pests and pathogens. Each coral is carefully inspected and monitored before being made available, providing an added layer of confidence when introducing new specimens to your reef system.
