The Jason Fox Burning Banana Stylocoeniella displays vibrant yellow-gold polyps accented by orange and red highlights, forming tight clusters across an encrusting base. This hardy small-polyp stony coral grows in a spreading, textured mat that adds brilliant contrast to rockwork. Its polyps exhibit gentle daytime extension and a lively feeding response after lights out, making it an eye-catching yet manageable showpiece for hobbyist reefers.

This Stylocoeniella thrives in stable, mature reef systems with moderate to strong lighting and ample, varied flow. Add it once nutrient and parameter stability are consistent, typically several months into the tank’s life cycle. A minimum tank size of 20 gallons is recommended to maintain water quality and allow room for its encrusting growth pattern.

Although primarily photosynthetic, this coral benefits from supplemental feedings of fine-particle foods such as San Francisco or Hikari zooplankton-type diets, PE reef blends, TDO small-grain pellets, and New Life Spectrum coral feeds.
