Description:
ECC Rainbow Splash Cyphastrea is a colorful encrusting coral that can bring vibrant contrast and texture to a reef aquarium. Its intricate corallite pattern and colorful appearance can become especially striking under blue and actinic lighting, making it a great choice for reefers looking to add visual interest to lower-light areas of the aquascape. Given time and stable conditions, Cyphastrea can spread across suitable rockwork and develop into an attractive encrusting colony.

Lighting: Low to Moderate – approximately 30–100 PAR
Flow Rate: Low to Moderate – gentle to moderate, indirect flow that helps keep the colony free of debris
Food Requirements: Primarily photosynthetic through its symbiotic zooxanthellae. Occasional fine particulate foods can be offered as supplemental nutrition to support healthy growth and coloration.
Aggression: Peaceful to Semi-Aggressive – generally manageable, but allow room around the colony as it expands across nearby surfaces.
Placement: Ideal for lower areas of the reef, shaded rockwork, or other stable surfaces receiving lower to moderate light and consistent indirect flow.
