ECC Nexus Burst Bubble Tip Anemone

ECC Nexus Burst Bubble Tip Anemone

Species: Entacmaea quadricolor
Coral Type: Sea Anemone / Bubble Tip Anemone

Description:
ECC Nexus Burst Bubble Tip Anemone is a captivating reef invertebrate prized for its colorful appearance, flowing tentacles, and distinctive bubble-shaped or elongated tentacle tips. Its dynamic movement adds life and visual interest to a reef aquarium, making it a standout addition to a suitable marine system. With stable water parameters, appropriate lighting, and a mature aquarium, this anemone can settle into its surroundings and thrive. Tentacle shape and coloration can vary with individual specimens and aquarium conditions.

Coral Type: Bubble Tip Anemone
Lighting: Moderate to High — approximately 150–300 PAR, acclimated gradually to the aquarium's lighting
Flow Rate: Moderate, with varied indirect flow that allows the tentacles to move naturally without being blasted by a strong current
Food Requirements: Photosynthetic through symbiotic algae; occasional feeding of small pieces of marine-origin meaty foods may be offered if accepted
Aggression: Can sting nearby corals and other sessile invertebrates. It may move around the aquarium, so provide ample space and monitor its position
Placement: Provide stable rockwork with crevices where the foot can securely attach. Use protected pump intakes and powerheads to reduce the risk of the anemone being drawn into equipment if it wanders.

Quarantine & Biosecurity:
We maintain a rigorous, veterinarian-approved quarantine program designed to protect the health of our coral collection and help reduce the introduction of unwanted pests and pathogens. Each specimen is carefully inspected and monitored before being made available, providing an added layer of confidence when introducing new livestock to your reef system.
