ECC Green Bubble Tip Anemone

ECC Green Bubble Tip Anemone

Species: Entacmaea quadricolor
Coral Type: Sea Anemone / Bubble Tip Anemone

Description:
ECC Green Bubble Tip Anemone features vibrant green coloration and flowing tentacles that bring natural movement and lively color to a marine aquarium. Its distinctive tentacle tips and attractive appearance make it a popular choice for reef keepers looking to add a striking invertebrate to their display. With stable water parameters, appropriate lighting, and a mature aquarium, this anemone can settle into the rockwork and thrive. Tentacle shape and bubble formation can vary depending on the individual and aquarium conditions.

Coral Type: Bubble Tip Anemone
Lighting: Moderate to High — approximately 150–300 PAR, with gradual acclimation to the aquarium's lighting
Flow Rate: Moderate, with varied indirect flow that allows the tentacles to move naturally
Food Requirements: Photosynthetic through symbiotic algae; may accept occasional small portions of marine-origin meaty foods
Aggression: Can sting neighboring corals and other sessile invertebrates. It may move around the aquarium, so provide ample space and monitor its position
Placement: Provide stable rockwork with crevices where the foot can securely attach. Protect pump intakes and powerheads to reduce the risk of the anemone being drawn into equipment if it wanders.

Quarantine & Biosecurity:
We maintain a rigorous, veterinarian-approved quarantine program designed to protect the health of our marine collection and help reduce the introduction of unwanted pests and pathogens. Each specimen is carefully inspected and monitored before being made available, providing an added layer of confidence when introducing new livestock to your aquarium.
