WWC Solomon Split Acropora is a premium branching SPS coral prized for its fast growth, delicate structure, and high-contrast coloration. It forms intricate, upward-branching colonies with fine, tapering branches covered in dense rows of tiny polyps. The “Split” designation typically refers to its unique multicolor patterning, often showing contrasting tones across branch tips and bases—commonly blends of bright greens, blues, pinks, or purples depending on lighting and flow conditions. Under actinic or blue-spectrum lighting, the fluorescent pigments become especially vivid, giving the colony a glowing, layered appearance.
As it matures, Solomon Split Acropora builds complex, tree-like structures that add height, movement, and structure to SPS-dominated reef aquariums.
