Jaw Breaker Grafted Montipora is a visually striking small polyp stony coral known for its vibrant, multi-colored appearance, often combining shades of pink, orange, purple, and green. This variety is a grafted colony, meaning multiple Montipora fragments are fused onto a single base, creating a unique, mosaic-like growth pattern. It typically forms encrusting plates or low, undulating ridges with tightly packed polyps that extend modestly during the day. Under actinic or blue-spectrum reef lighting, its fluorescent pigments intensify, producing a bold, eye-catching display that makes it a centerpiece in SPS reef aquariums.
