Description:
WWC Jason Fox Acid Reflux Zoanthids are a vibrant zoanthid variety prized for their bold coloration and eye-catching appearance. Under blue and actinic lighting, their contrasting tones can become especially fluorescent, making them a standout addition to a colorful reef display. These colonial polyps can form attractive mats over time and are well suited for dedicated zoanthid gardens or isolated rockwork where they have room to spread.

Coral Type: Soft Coral / Colonial Polyp
Lighting: Moderate – approximately 75–150 PAR
Flow Rate: Low to Moderate – gentle, indirect flow that keeps the polyps free of debris without preventing them from opening fully
Food Requirements: Primarily photosynthetic through their symbiotic zooxanthellae. Occasional fine particulate foods such as Reef Roids or Benereef may be offered to supplement nutrition and encourage healthy growth.
Aggression: Peaceful to Semi-Aggressive – zoanthids can spread rapidly and may eventually compete with or overgrow neighboring corals.
Placement: Ideal on an isolated rock, frag island, or other stable structure with adequate space for the colony to expand.

Safety Note: Zoanthids and Palythoa can contain palytoxin. Avoid unnecessary handling, and never cut, crush, boil, or use power tools on these corals. Use appropriate protective equipment and good ventilation when handling or fragging.
