WWC Dragonfruit Montipora is a vibrant SPS coral prized for its exotic coloration and fast-growing encrusting to plating growth form. It develops smooth, layered plates and spreading sheets covered in fine polyps that give the colony a subtle textured shimmer. The “Dragonfruit” morph is especially sought after for its intense pink, magenta, and purple base tones contrasted with bright neon green or yellow polyps, creating a bold tropical color combination reminiscent of the fruit it’s named after.

Under actinic or blue-spectrum lighting, the fluorescent pigments intensify dramatically, giving the colony a glowing, candy-like appearance that stands out strongly in SPS-dominated reef aquariums.
