Description:
Jason Fox Spellbound Cyphastrea is a vibrant encrusting coral that can add exceptional color and texture to a reef aquarium. Its detailed corallite pattern and contrasting coloration can become particularly striking under blue and actinic lighting, making it an excellent choice for adding visual interest to lower-light areas of the aquascape. With stable conditions and room to grow, this Cyphastrea can gradually encrust surrounding rockwork and develop into an attractive colony.

Lighting: Low to Moderate – approximately 30–100 PAR
Flow Rate: Low to Moderate – gentle, indirect flow that keeps the colony free of debris without excessive water movement
Food Requirements: Primarily photosynthetic through its symbiotic zooxanthellae. Occasional fine particulate foods can be offered as supplemental nutrition to support healthy growth and coloration.
Aggression: Peaceful to Semi-Aggressive – generally manageable, but allow adequate space as the colony expands across nearby surfaces.
Placement: Best placed on lower rockwork or other stable surfaces receiving low to moderate lighting and consistent indirect flow.
