Jason Fox Snow Cap Montipora is a striking SPS coral known for its crisp contrast and elegant plating growth form. It develops smooth, layered plates and encrusting sheets that gradually expand outward across rockwork, creating a clean, architectural appearance. The “Snow Cap” morph is especially prized for its cool-toned coloration—typically featuring a deep blue, purple, or teal base accented by bright white to icy-blue growth edges and polyps that resemble fresh snow along the colony’s ridges.

Under actinic or blue-spectrum lighting, the contrast between the darker base and glowing white highlights becomes exceptionally vivid, giving the coral a frosted, luminous appearance.
