Feather Dusters thrive in established reef tanks with stable water parameters, moderate water flow, and plenty of space to extend their feeding crowns without obstruction. Introduce only to mature systems to ensure stable conditions and adequate plankton availability. A minimum tank size of 10 gallons is recommended, though larger tanks provide more stable water quality.

Their diet should include planktonic foods and high-quality frozen or powdered foods from San Francisco Bay Brand, Hikari, PE, TDO, and New Life Spectrum to support filter-feeding and overall health. Target feeding encourages active crown extension and vibrant coloration.
