Description:
ECC Mummy Eye Chalice is a striking chalice coral known for its colorful appearance, broad plating growth, and distinctive corallite patterns. Its contrasting coloration can become especially vibrant under blue and actinic lighting, making it an excellent addition to a mixed reef or LPS-focused display. Given stable water parameters and appropriate placement, this coral can gradually spread across available surfaces and develop into an impressive colony.

Lighting: Low to Moderate – approximately 50–150 PAR
Flow Rate: Low to Moderate – gentle, indirect flow that keeps the coral free of debris without excessive tissue movement
Food Requirements: Primarily photosynthetic through its symbiotic zooxanthellae. Occasional small meaty foods or fine particulate coral foods can be offered to supplement nutrition and support growth.
Aggression: Semi-Aggressive – chalice corals may develop sweeper tentacles, particularly at night, so provide adequate space from neighboring corals.
Placement: Best placed on lower to mid-level rockwork or another stable surface receiving low to moderate lighting and gentle flow. Allow room around the colony for future growth and nighttime sweepers.
