Description:
ECC Multidimensional Favites is a colorful and visually distinctive LPS coral featuring a textured surface of closely spaced corallites that gives the colony impressive depth and dimension. Its coloration can become especially pronounced under blue and actinic lighting, making it a beautiful addition to mixed reef displays. With stable water parameters and appropriate spacing, this Favites can gradually develop into a substantial colony.

Coral Type: LPS Coral / Favites
Lighting: Moderate – approximately 75–150 PAR
Flow Rate: Low to Moderate – gentle, indirect flow that keeps the coral clean while allowing natural polyp extension
Food Requirements: Primarily photosynthetic through its symbiotic zooxanthellae. Occasional small meaty foods or fine particulate coral foods can be offered to supplement nutrition and support healthy growth.
Aggression: Semi-Aggressive – Favites may extend sweeper tentacles after dark, so provide adequate clearance from neighboring corals.
Placement: Best positioned on lower to mid-level rockwork or another stable surface where it receives consistent lighting and gentle flow. Allow sufficient space around the colony for nighttime sweeper tentacles.
