Spider Decorator Crabs thrive in established reef tanks with stable water parameters, moderate water flow, and abundant rockwork or crevices for shelter. Introduce only to mature systems to reduce stress and ensure sufficient food sources. A minimum tank size of 15 gallons is recommended, with larger tanks preferred for multiple individuals.

Their diet can be supplemented with finely chopped or pellet foods from San Francisco Bay Brand, Hikari, PE, TDO, and New Life Spectrum, alongside natural scavenging. Target feeding encourages active behavior, healthy growth, and proper camouflage activity.
