Coral Beauty — Centropyge bispinosa

The Centropyge bispinosa Coral Beauty is a vibrant dwarf angelfish with a deep royal blue body and bright orange accents on the face, fins, and tail. Active and moderately peaceful, it swims throughout the mid- to upper-water column, grazing on algae while adding bold color and movement to reef tanks. Although generally reef-safe, some specimens may nip at soft corals, so careful monitoring is recommended in delicate coral setups.

Coral Beauty Angelfish thrive in established reef tanks with stable water parameters, abundant live rock for grazing, and open swimming areas. Introduce only to mature systems to reduce stress and ensure adequate acclimation. A minimum tank size of 55 gallons is recommended to support active swimming and territorial behavior.

Their diet should include algae-based foods such as Julian Sprung’s Sea Veggies, along with high-quality frozen or pellet foods from San Francisco Bay Brand, Hikari, PE, TDO, and New Life Spectrum to maintain coloration and overall health. Target feeding encourages natural grazing and vibrant display.
