The Black Gladiator x Davinci Clownfish is a striking designer morph of Amphiprion ocellaris, combining deep black base coloration with bold, irregular white striping unique to each specimen. As they mature, their coloration intensifies, often developing a velvety black body with high-contrast patterning. Adults typically reach 3–3.5 inches in length and retain a hardy, compact build. They are semi-aggressive, especially once established, but generally compatible with other peaceful reef inhabitants.

Suitable Tank Description
Well-suited for reef or fish-only aquariums of 20 gallons or larger, with stable water conditions and moderate flow. It’s best to introduce this species early to mid-stocking so it can establish territory without conflict from more aggressive tankmates. While they may host anemones such as Bubble Tip Anemones, hosting is not required for their health or longevity.
